Photographers will tell you two of the most difficult subjects to photograph are children and pets. While both are naturally photogenic, neither are good at holding still or following prompts. So today, we want to recognize all of our volunteers who have taken on the challenge of photographing all of our cats and dogs, contributing to the cache of photos and videos you see on our social media pages, promotional materials, Petfinder listings, event highlights, and / Wednesday features!
HEARTT Animal Refuge does not retain the services of any professional photographers. What you see is all taken and edited by the same people who are busy walking dogs, cleaning cages, medicating, and feeding animals. These are dedicated volunteers from both our Bridgetown and Sharonville locations, who spend extra time being very patient and sitting with the animals trying to capture that perfect moment or video snippet. Often they are sorting through 100 photos or more, editing and splicing, using Canva, CapCut , and other apps to perfect their final product, so that we can show our pets in the best light.
We are very appreciative of the services provided by these talented individuals! And the cats and dogs appreciate the extra playtime that inevitably comes with these sessions! š„°ā¤ļøš„°
