This past spring, we shook some things up with great success!

We have a wonderful team of society members who volunteer their time on our training committee to develop and implement new ways of teaching our program that meet the need's of our students. This year, that included new topics, guest speakers, and innovative activities.

One of these new additions was the Drum Major Simulator, an activity designed to give our students a taste of what it feels like leading the band on game day. We also introduced new mini classes covering topics such as Football and Basketball 101, Principles of Leadership, and A Day in the Life of a Drum Major, covering the various responsibilities our students would have while serving in the role.

A donation of $50 covers the costs for a student's spring training program, from binders and whistles to music scores and drill charts. Your contribution can provide a scholarship for a student in need of financial assistance, allowing us to educate any and all who are interested in joining us this coming spring.
