*IF you have an unaltered male and female you WILL have puppies

*IF your female is in heat reach out ASAP

*IF your female has had puppies reach out asap to get her scheduled now so she’s ready once she’s finished nursing and get the puppies scheduled 4 months out. CALL ASAP to get male neutered so when she goes back into heat you don’t have another litter UCAN Nonprofit Spay/Neuter Clinic is booked out for months. If you schedule an appt please show up or call with enough advance notice that we can contact someone else who is waiting.

IF you no show or don’t communicate we will not reschedule you. There are too many people in need right now. If you forgot what assurance do we have you will remember next time?

Be responsible. Everyone wants to bash shelters but this is a community problem. I can’t get an appointment. No rescues will respond to me. Everyone is full. If no one helps I’m dumping in them at the Shelter. I need help with food and vaccines. We need money for emergency surgery - puppy stuck in birth canal. The list goes on and on every hour of every day.

Get your animals fixed! This is your problem no one else’s. Adulting is hard. Do not wait. Act now.

🐾 Clermont County Low Cost Spay Program 🐾

The cost is only $45 per female feline. This works for feral cats brought in feral traps (ear tip is mandatory for all cats brought in traps), stray cats, friendly cats, family cats. We don’t care what their living arrangements are as that has never stopped cats from reproducing before…

We can’t intake every cat, or even half the cats we are reached out about, so we are going to try at the very least to keep those cats from reproducing. Our pet population is because of owners not being responsible with their intact animals - cats being the biggest issue. 1.5 MILLION cats are euthanized in shelters in the United States every single year. So let’s all fix that!!

It is recommended across this country to spay/neuter cats by the age of 5 months old or younger (8wks/2lbs). Waiting to spay or neuter your cat serves no benefit - they are not like dogs. They can be done as early as 8wks and 2lbs. Vaccines, exams, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, microchips and flea prevention at an extra cost to you paid at drop off.

💗THIS PROGRAM IS FOR FEMALE CATS ONLY💗

NEED TO SCHEDULE?!

Give Owensville Animal Hospital a call Monday through Friday 7:30am-5pm (Wednesdays 7:30-Noon) to get on the schedule. Make sure to tell them it’s for Fostering Feline’s low cost spay program or you will not be scheduled under our discounted program and will be responsible for full cost ($90)! We are unable to adjust the billing after you schedule as our funds are used quite quickly with this program.

There are a limited amount of spots and the $45 is required at the time of making the appointment; No exceptions as this is the agreement between us and our veterinary partner to help stop people from "no showing" their appointment. If you no show, or cancel last minute you will lose your deposit of $45 and will not be able to use our program again.

🐾 All cats must be in their own carrier.
🐾 Drop off is always between 7:30a - 8:00a
🐾 Pick up (same day) is between 2:00p - 4:00p
🐾 No extra charge for post-op pain medication.

This program is ONLY for individuals that live in Clermont County, OH - no organizations, breeders or independent rescuers (people who do TNR work at various places or take in cats to adopt them out - there are local programs that will help you). We maintain the right to decline any one for any reason - including being rude to any staff members or volunteers.

We have limited spots for this program so do not delay in getting them on the schedule. We do not have any more plans for another low cost program currently.
