🚨 Nominee’s Biography 🚨

➡️ Name: Paul Kemo
➡️ Position: Board Member

Paul Kemo was born in Port Moresby and raised in Lae, Morobe Province. He is from Central Province, Papua New Guinea. He is married, his wife’s name is Pomu, and they have two children. Paul and his family currently reside in Michigan. Throughout his childhood and adulthood, he has served the Lord in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He served as a Pastor throughout PNG in various churches for four years. He graduated from the Master of Divinity Program in May 2023. He is continuing his studies in the Doctor of Leadership Program at Andrews University in Michigan, USA.

Paul is thankful for the opportunity to serve as a board member of PNGINUSA. His dedication to serving in his community will continue to inspire and motivate others to serve with kindness and compassion. People in his family are a huge part of the community at Andrews University. He is actively engaged and involved in supporting new students and their families who attend the University. His leadership roles will add value to the organization’s mission and impact in positive ways. He loves singing, preaching Jesus, and traveling with family.

Richard Wale was born and raised in Southern Highland Province, Papua New Guinea. He is married with two children and resides in Pennsylvania. He is currently working in the manufacturing industry. His background is in Religious Studies and Theology. Richard has attended and volunteered for PNGINUSA events and will continue to serve in our community.

He is thankful for the opportunity to serve in the PNGINUSA board, and looking forward to contributing ideas guided by the mission of the organization to help fellow PNGians within our capacities. He loves our tradition, culture and way of life.

🚨 Nominee’s Biography 🚨

➡️ Name: Jerry Borg
➡️ Position: Board Member

Jerry Borg was born and raised in Rabaul and originally from West New Britain, East Sepik, and Madang, grew up and studied throughout Papua New Guinea, spending most of his early life in the Eastern Highlands before moving to Port Moresby.

He has built a professional career in HVAC and Sports Administration Management, and now lives in Pennsylvania. A former PNG Touch Football representative, his sporting highlight was winning Bronze at the 2015 World Cup in Coffs Harbour, Sydney.

Jerry has contributed to sports administration at national, regional, and international levels, including the significant experience of serving at APEC Haus, which strengthened his leadership skills. His coaching ability led him to become the Solomon Islands National Touch Rugby Team Coach for the 2023 Pacific Games. Guided by his belief that “To lead is to serve” and inspired by Colossians 3:23, he values teamwork and service.

In the U.S., he remains active in touch football, playing for teams in Philadelphia and New York City, winning gold in 2024 and silver in 2025 at the USA Nationals. He is grateful for the opportunities he’s had and looks forward to contributing further to the PNGINUSA community.

🚨Nominee’s Biography🚨

➡️ Name: Irau Minot
➡️ Position: Board Member

Irau Minot lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, with her family. Her mother is from Papua New Guinea — Aroma, Central Province and her father is from Los Angeles, California. Although she was born and raised in the United States she spent many summers immersed in village life along the Aroma coast. These experiences deepened her connection to her family and culture bringing a broader perspective and appreciation for diversity.

Leveraging her professional background in education and administration with her latest role working for big tech company Google, Irau brings valuable experience in leadership and community outreach. She has volunteered with several non-profit organizations, including PNGinUSA, where she has actively supported various projects. In 2023 and 2024 she traveled to San Diego, CA to volunteer with PNGinUSA wantoks representing PNG at the Pacific Island Festival of Arts (PIFA). There, PNGinUSA hosted an educational PNG village booth making meaningful connections with festival goers. She is passionately dedicated and enjoys helping people learn about PNG’s beautiful cultural diversity and history.

“I am looking forward to continuing my engagement in community-focused initiatives and mobilizing nationwide collaboration within the PNGinUSA community!”

Nathan A Nita, was born and raised in Mt Hagen, Papua New Guinea. He is currently working in the Oil & Gas industry and residing in Houston Texas with his family. He is a current board member of PNGINUSA serving his first term. He has been serving his community through the local church from childhood to adulthood. He loves God, his family and is dedicated to serving others in his community.

He is excited and grateful about the opportunity to serve as Vice President.
He is looking forward to helping and supporting PNGINUSA to grow, reach out and support other Papua New Guinea Nonprofit organizations. He is passionate and devoted to his country, tribe, cultures and traditions. His goal is to provide and support to build strength and unity in the local and global communities.
