Kindervelt 50 Camargo Hunt

Thank you to all of our KV #50 members who joined us for our first general meeting of the year! It was wonderful to reconnect, welcome six new members and share everything ahead for KV #50.

We have such an incredibly talented, dedicated, and FUN group of 45 women, and we are so excited for the year ahead! 💚

There is so much to look forward to, including our signature annual fundraiser, Off to the Races, on Saturday, April 10, 2027, at Kenwood Country Club! 🏇✨

We’re looking forward to another year of friendship, philanthropy, community, and—most importantly—making a difference for Cincinnati Children's

What an exciting morning with our Kindervelt #50 Chairs as we came together to collaborate, plan, and kick off year THREE of fundraising for Cincinnati Children's The Advanced Leukemia Therapies and Research Center❤️

We have so much to look forward to—and a lot to announce over the next month! We can’t wait to share what’s ahead and hope you’ll follow along as we work together to make a meaningful impact for the patients and families at Cincinnati Children’s.

Last night, hosted its Annual Meeting at Western Hills Country Club, celebrating the incredible women who make our organization so special. During the evening, we honored members for their dedicated service ranging from 5 to 40 years of involvement with Kindervelt.

In addition, the prestigious Barbara Fitch Award was presented to Kindervelt Board of Trustees Treasurer and Kindervelt #56 member, Debbie Linneman, in recognition of her outstanding dedication and service.

We also recognized outgoing Board President Suzanne Nemeth for her exceptional leadership and dedication over the past two years, and officially voted in incoming Kindervelt President Jennie Strode.

Members also heard an inspiring update from Vice President for Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children’s, Kristen Safier, who shared the tremendous impact Kindervelt continues to have on the lives of children and families facing leukemia. Her message was clear: Kindervelt’s support is helping drive scientific advancements, strengthen critical initiatives within the Leukemia Center, and build momentum for vital federal grant funding.

Together, we are making a difference and imagining a brighter future for children and families in our community. With 21 groups across the city, Kindervelt is more than events and fundraising — it is a passionate community of dedicated women committed to creating lasting impact.
