On Thursday, August 27, 2026, the Rotary Club of Cincinnati was honored to welcome Hamilton County Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey and members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for our annual Hamilton County Sheriff Recognition Program.

Each year, this special program gives us the opportunity to recognize individuals whose dedication, professionalism, courage, and service make a difference in our community.

What is Rotary? Sometimes one story says it better than we ever could.

When a Rotary member from Florida needed a place to stay in Cincinnati while her grandson underwent heart surgery at Cincinnati Children’s, a member of the Rotary Club of Cincinnati opened her home to a family she had never met.

Two families. Two Rotary clubs more than 1,000 miles apart. One shared commitment to Service Above Self.
