Congratulations to our 2026 FAH $500 College Scholarship recipient Toyon Embry. Toyon is heading into his second year at Miami University majoring in Primary Education. He recently joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc and was even given the opportunity to present at a major conference in LA. (see link below.).
Super proud of this Senator and happy we are able to continue to support him, all because to your contributions.

Because of your generous donations to this years Senator Pledge, we awarded 4 students a total of $9000 in college scholarships yesterday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Father William Cross, Taft class of 1964 graduate. In 1974, Father Cross was just the second Black priest to be ordained in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Funeral Services for Reverend Father William H. Cross, are as follows:
Visitation: Thursday, April 9th, 6:30-8:30 pm at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral downtown.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday,April 10th at 2:00 pm, also at the Cathedral.
Following the Mass, Internment will be at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, followed by a repast at Purcell Marion High School.

Father Cross is the brother of several Taft Alumni.
