It's been a while! Hope everybody is having a good start to the school year! There are lots of exciting changes happening at the Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center so that means changes for YES. DACA has not changed! You can still renew your DACA and go on Advanced Parole.

Unfortunately, new applications still can't be processed and thousands of young people who don't qualify for DACA are still left without protection. We need a path to citizenship now!!

❗ This final DACA rule is meant to replace the 2012 DACA Memo from DHS to further legitimize DACA in the courts. It will take effect in 60 days. We've put together this resource with everything you need to know!

Want to learn how to grow your personal story? Or how to us it as a tool for advocacy? Join us this Saturday for our training. We are very excited to be hosting another one of our Storytelling Training this Month. We believe that we all have a story and a voice that can create change. This training is open to anyone that would like to come ages 14-25. We will be at the Clifton United Methodist Church from 10AM-1PM. We ask people to bring a mask. If you have any questions feel free to Direct Message us!

Join us Thursday March 24th for our 11th belated birthday celebration! Last month due to weather we had to cancel. We will be having our celebration this month. Incase you missed it, we will be having a bonfire with food and beverages. As always we are giving rides to the bonfire. Also want to ask everyone to make sure you bring a mask. Lastly if you would like to bring a chair or a blanket your more than welcome to. Make sure to RSVP for the address, the location is in East Price Hill. Let us know if you have any questions!
