For generations, the U.S. Navy has defended our freedom, protected our shores, and answered the call to serve wherever duty leads. Behind every sailor is a family making sacrifices of their own, providing strength, encouragement, and support through every deployment and every homecoming. ❤️

At Back the Heroes Rumble, our mission is to honor our heroes, support their families, and ensure that their service and sacrifices are never forgotten. Today, we recognize the sailors who stand watch, the veterans who have served before them, and the families who stand beside them.

At Back the Heroes Rumble, we know that serving others often means carrying things the rest of the world may never see. Behind the uniform are real people who experience stress, trauma, grief, and struggles that aren’t always visible.

Whether you serve in the military, have served our country as a veteran, or answer the call as a police officer, firefighter, EMS professional, dispatcher, or correctional officer, please remember this:

💚 You are more than the badge you wear.
💚 You don’t have to carry the weight alone.
💚 Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Today, we encourage everyone to check in on the people who spend their lives looking out for others. Sometimes, a simple “How are you really doing?” can open the door to a conversation that matters more than you know.

Last night, a few of our Back the Heroes Rumble members had the pleasure of stopping by the Mt. Healthy Fraternal Order of Eagles #2193 to visit with their members, share a little about our upcoming Gala of Honor, and graciously accept an incredible $5,000 donation to help us continue our mission!

To say the Mt. Healthy Eagles do good things in their community would be an absolute understatement. Their dedication to giving back, supporting our veterans and first responders, and making a difference in the lives of others is truly remarkable.

Their motto is “People Helping People,” and we can’t think of a better way to describe this organization. They don’t just say those words, they live by them. Their generosity and commitment to their community are shining examples of what those three simple words truly mean.

Sometimes you reach out asking for a donation, and you’re never quite sure what might come of it.

Then one day, you get a message with a photo that simply says, “We just dropped this off at the Cincinnati ToolBank for you.”

When we tell you the photo of this custom, handmade wavy flag does not do it justice, we mean it. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We are excited to announce that Servatii will be our exclusive dessert sponsor for this year’s Gala of Honor as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday! 🇺🇸🎂

This partnership feels especially meaningful. Servatii’s founder, Wilhelm Gottenbusch, came from generations of bakers and brought his family’s baking traditions from Germany to America. After coming to Cincinnati, Wilhelm served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant and head of the kitchens at Fort Knox. 🎖️🇺🇸
