Applications are now open for the 2026 Father Patrick Desbois Summer Academy on Genocide, Justice and Remembrance.

Organized by the Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas and Yahad – In Unum, this fully funded two-week program brings together scholars, practitioners, and educators to study how mass violence is investigated, documented, and remembered.

Participants will work with leading experts, including Patrick Desbois and members of the Yahad research team, exploring methods such as forensic investigation, witness testimony collection, archival research, and digital mapping.

New | Field Study Program for Educators – Poland, July 2026

Yahad – In Unum is opening applications for a new field study program in Poland for secondary and higher-education educators from the United States 🇺🇸, focused on investigating the Holocaust by bullets through on-site research and field methodology.

This unique program, based on Yahad - In Unum’s field research methodology, is designed to place educators directly in the locations where mass shootings took place, give them the opportunity to meet the last remaining eye-witnesses and be guided by Yahad – In Unum researchers.
