On the same day as the HBCU Send-Off, hosted an elegant event to celebrate the 2026 AFFIRMED Honorees, including our founder, , who is also the co-founder of .

We are incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside so many amazing honorees who are making a positive impact in our community.

Since we were unable to attend due to our HBCU Send-Off, we extend our heartfelt thanks to who accepted the award on Latoya’s behalf. We are truly honored by this recognition and appreciate the Urban League Young Professionals for celebrating leaders who are committed to serving and uplifting our communities.

We can’t thank everyone enough for showing up, showing out, and helping make the 3rd Annual HBCU Send-Off such an incredible celebration of community, HBCU Pride, culture, literacy, and Black excellence. ❤️🖤💛

The 4th Annual HBCU Send-Off is loading for 2027! 🎓✨

In the meantime, we’ll be at the HBCU Literacy Hub at South Avondale all summer long with books, activities, literacy programming, and community events. Be sure to follow so you don’t miss what’s next! 😎
