It was another great weekend of bees. Yes, it's really hot in that suit, and sometimes we get stung, no matter how hard we try, but our education hives are extremely important to our mission.

The first week of the Cincinnati Urban Ecological Study was a success, and we’re so excited for the rest of the summer! 🌿🐝🐜

Our CUES team is documenting pollinator diversity across Cincinnati parks and investigating ant diet preferences in different microclimates. Keep track of your own urban pollinator observations on iNaturalist! We’ll be comparing our data with community observations at the end of the summer!🔬🐝

Thank you to EVERYONE who attended our 2026 garden party. Our host committee, headed up by Anne Chasser, was tremendous, and we are so grateful to the over 50 attendees and 15 volunteers. Special shout-out to our honey-tasting table volunteers, our volunteer bartender and food servers, and, of course, Dan Druffel for hosting us in his lovely garden.
