The Jamhuri and Christmas event volunteer planning team agreed to mobilize the community for donations to help cover food, kids’ gifts, and other event logistics. Your contributions, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated.

May this day be filled with rest, reflection, and pride in all that you've accomplished. Let's continue to support one another and strive for even greater heights together.

Fellow Kenyans,

Back to school season is here with us. You and your family are invited to Back to school prayer event next Saturday 8/24/24.

Venue: The call Worship Center 8340 Pippin Road
Cincinnati, OH 45239

Time: From 2:00 PM

During this event we will be praying for students and their families as they start a new school year. We will also be praying for other needs that might be presented. Pastor Denis Odhiambo will share a brief message and will then be joined by other pastors friends in attendance to pray with the people for various needs.
Praise and worship will be led by New Vision Church from Harrison Ohio.

There will be plenty of food, fun and fellowship. Please invite a friend.

🇰🇪🇺🇲Please let’s bring a variety of traditional African and Kenyan foods such as kitheri/githeri, managu, mukimo, buta, pilau, jollof rice, maindi ya kuchoma, ngwasi, nduma, mihogo, and more. Our DJs will compile a playlist of great African and Kenyan music for everyone to enjoy.

Together we can make this event homely, enjoyable, relaxed, fun, and easy-going. In these stressful times, both with politics here and back home, we all need a moment to unwind and connect. This event can be an opportunity for us to find common ground and remind ourselves of the joy of our shared heritage.
