Today is ***depreventionday 💜 A time to remind ourselves that REACHING OUT for help is a sign of STRENGTH and COURAGE 💪🏽, not a weakness. It’s also a time to check-in on our loved ones that may be struggling. Simply starting a conversation can go a long way to help someone feel heard.

🦋 It can be challenging knowing the right things to say when a loved one comes to you with thoughts of su***de. It’s important to LISTEN, show COMPASSION, offer SUPPORT, and SAFETY.
