Hoyts Heart Hoyt was born February 21st, 2020. He was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He is currently on the Heart Transplant wait list for a new heart.

Since I’ve had a few questions about listing status, with a bit of a heavy heart but an optimistic view, we have some big news. Hoyt is going to be listed for a heart transplant inpatient, as a 1A at Mott hospital. We’ve had a great few years at home, but the clock has been ticking. We’re spending the rest of the summer at home making more memories, and then it’s go time ❤️💙 my warrior is gonna be a rock star in the OR! Stay tuned on details of a big bash to celebrate our guy 😏

We have lots of big feelings and emotions with a bit of a set back. Due to insurance issues we are returning to Mott hospital, for a transplant evaluation to hopefully keep Hoyt listed for the mean time while we try to sort out other institution options. I feel so grateful we do have the opportunity to keep Hoyt listed and under cardiac care, and I am extremely optimistic that things are going to go well this time around at the big U. Hail to the little victors! 💙💛
