50 brand new beds for 50 kids in need!🛌💛

Last weekend, we had the privilege of hosting a lemonade stand at St. Vincent de Paul’s Hope to Dream event, and boy, was it a tearjerker🥺

The beds had been delivered and assembled, and the anticipation was building all morning. Then the curtain went up, and the kids scurried around the room looking for the bed with their name on it.

A bed to call their own. A bed that will give them the restful sleep they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

We were so grateful to play a small part in the day by providing each child with a brand new Squishmallow to snuggle with in their new bed. Because really, what kid doesn’t love a new stuffed animal?! 🥹

For some of these kids, this was the first time they would have a bed of their own. No more sharing a bed with a parent, sleeping on the couch, an air mattress, or even the floor. Just a bed that belongs to them. Something so simple that so many of us take for granted.

We left that event with full hearts and a renewed sense of gratitude for all that we have. And once again, we were reminded just how blessed we are to be part of a community that shows up for kids and families who need it most. 💛

Our hosts don't just raise money. We want them to understand why they raise it.

Earlier this summer, some of our older hosts had the opportunity to visit St. Vincent de Paul and take part in a poverty simulation, an experience designed to give them a glimpse into the very real challenges that families living in poverty can face.

They were faced with decisions about finding and keeping a job, paying rent and bills, putting food on the table, getting their kids where they needed to be, and trying to make it through the month with limited resources. Suddenly, things that can be easy for many of us to take for granted became difficult choices.

It was such a great reminder that behind every statistic we read about is a family. A parent trying to make ends meet. A child whose circumstances are completely outside of their control.

And that's why experiences like this matter.

The money they collected at their lemonade stands will help provide opportunities, resources and a little bit of relief to kids and families facing hardships.

We want our hosts to grow up knowing that helping others isn't just something you talk about. It's something you DO. And sometimes, it starts with a cup of lemonade. 🍋💛

Kids Serving Kids. That's what it's all about.

Happy National Lemonade Day! 🍋💛

Today is a pretty sweet excuse to celebrate some of the people who make our Lemonade Stand possible: our hosts!

Just four weeks ago, more than 110 incredible hosts across our community opened their doors, set up their stands, poured cup after cup of lemonade and showed us what happens when kids serving kids is backed by a whole community willing to say, “Count me in!”

We’re still smiling over everything this group accomplished. And this reel? Just a little glimpse of the AMAZING people behind the lemonade. 🥹🍋

So if you’ve ever thought, “Maybe we should host a stand next year…” consider this your sign. 😉

Bring your family. Bring your coworkers. Bring your team, school, business or neighborhood.

10,000+ BOOKS. ONE RECORD-BREAKING YEAR! 🤯📚🍋

This year, our Payton’s Lemonade Stand hosts and communities collected more than 10,000 books, bringing our four-year total to 28,000+ books donated to ! ❤️

But as incredible as those numbers are, what they REALLY mean is even bigger.

They mean thousands of kids will get to choose a fun, new-to-them book and discover a new story, a new adventure, a new favorite character, or maybe even a new love of reading. They mean more kids having books to call their own and more opportunities to get lost in the pages of something they love. 📖❤️

We’re so proud that our lemonade hosts and their communities have made reading a part of our summer tradition of giving back. 🍋📚

To every child who collected books, every family who donated, and every community that showed up—THANK YOU! We can’t wait to see where all 28,000+ books take these kids.

Together, we’re sweetening the lives of children facing hardships while empowering kids to discover the joy of giving back.

Meet Lauren! 💛🍋

Just over a year ago, Lauren was in a terrible bike accident that left her unable to walk. Her long road to recovery brought her to the PT clinic of Payton’s dad, Mike, who helped teach her how to walk again.

During their many appointments, they talked about their kids. Months later, Lauren noticed Mike wearing a Payton’s Lemonade Stand polo and had an AHA moment: the Payton he’d been talking about was THE Payton behind Payton’s Lemonade Stand! 🍋

Inspired to give back, Lauren became a stand host, rallied her daughters and Indian Hill community, and even offered to match every donation. Their first stand was an incredible success, and they’re already planning to make it bigger next year!

THIS is one of our favorite parts of Payton’s Lemonade Stand: watching our mission ripple from one person to another, one family to another, and one generation to the next. What started in a PT clinic has become a new summer tradition for the Bair family, and we have a feeling they’re just getting started. 💛

It’s hard to put into words what this number really means.

It means kids who chose to spend their Saturday serving other kids.

It means neighbors showing up for neighbors.

It means businesses, families, volunteers, sponsors, and donors believing that even something as simple as a cup of lemonade can change lives. 🍋💛

Nine years ago, this all started with one little girl, one lemonade stand, and one big heart.

Today, that heart beats throughout our entire community.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for making our sweetest year yet possible.

The lemonade may be gone, but the impact is just beginning.

A BIG thank you to Urban Air Adventure Park for opening your doors and giving us the perfect place to celebrate our incredible hosts today! 🍋

There’s something pretty special about watching this group come together and seeing just how much they poured into their stands this summer.

And honestly? We couldn’t be prouder. 🥹

Every stand, every cup of lemonade, every book collected, every dollar raised… it all started with people who simply said, “Yes, I’ll help.” And look what they did together.💛💛

We had SO much fun celebrating them today, and we cannot wait to celebrate the impact they made.

As for the final results…you’ll have to wait until tomorrow evening. 😉 But we’ll tell you this: it’s a number worth celebrating!

One of our favorite things about Payton’s Lemonade Stand is seeing our entire community come together… the young and the young at heart! 🍋💛

This year, several senior living communities hosted their own lemonade stands, and it absolutely warmed our hearts to see so many residents pouring lemonade, sharing smiles, and supporting such a meaningful cause!

That’s what Payton’s Lemonade Stand is all about! Bringing generations together, neighbors helping neighbors, and an entire community rallying behind children facing medical, personal, and economic hardships.

We’re still crunching the numbers and can’t wait to officially announce this year’s fundraising total! 🎉 Thank you to every stand host, volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who helped make this year’s event so special!

We think this may be our biggest book donation yet! 📚🍋

This is just a portion of the incredible number of books collected at Payton’s Lemonade Stand locations across the Tri-State this year… isn’t that amazing?! 💛

These books are headed to Queen City Book Bank, where they’ll help put books into the hands of children and families throughout Greater Cincinnati because every child deserves the opportunity to build a lifelong love of reading. It’s one more way our stands are making a difference for the community.

To every child who collected books, every family who donated, and every community that showed up to support this mission—thank you. Your kindness is creating brighter futures, one book at a time.
