SCHEDULE UPDATES:

RINGLING BROS. SHOW ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3, IS CANCELLED. ALL OTHERS SHOWS ARE STILL SCHEDULED.

UC-CLEMSON BASKETBALL ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19: TIPOFF IS 9:00 PM.

Please consider working if Darrell Breen contacts you or consider reporting as a standby if Darrell hasn't contacted you by the day of the event. Please respond to his messages promptly, even if your answer is "No", and don't leave him hanging with a delayed response. If you agree to work an event, please do your best to honor your commitment. If you need to call off after committing, please do so as soon as possible. Don't be a "no-show." Please text him if you plan to report as a standby so he knows how many people he will have on hand. It isn't mandatory to do that, but he would appreciate it because it helps him plan out the event staffing.

If you haven't worked at HBC in a while, please consider becoming active there again. We need Ushers to work, especially when there are conflicts with events at our other venues and for big events like concerts.

If you want to get hired to work at HBC, contact Darrell and he will assist you in the hiring process.

Here is the updated real-time HBC schedule. Report Time is usually 30 minutes before the doors open, but that could differ for some events. We will let you know if that is different for an event. Check the INFO tab on each event to see the door opening times.

Sister Hope McGuinness set up a post-Reds game gathering this Sunday (September 20) at the Bellevue Vets, 24 Fairfield Ave, Bellevue, KY 41073

ALL USHERS ARE INVITED, even if you don't work Sunday's Reds game or even if you don't work at GABP.

The event starts as soon as people can get there after the Reds game, which starts at 1:40.

SOME DETAILS:
*We have the back room reserved.
*Same place as the fall picnic/outing
*Free parking
*Pay for your own drinks. They are reasonably priced.
*Hope will bring in some snacks. You can chip in, too, if you wish.
*It's basically an informal mixer. Just a chance to hang out with each other at the end of the baseball season.
*There will be football on TV.
*There will also be an opportunity to share memories of Bev Hager. Hope will organize that.

If you have any questions or would like to assist Hope with this, call/text or email her. Her contact information is in a related email that was sent today.
