SEM Food Pantry

🌟 Happy Monday! 🌟

Here’s hoping everyone has a wonderful week ahead!

As we mentioned, over the next few weeks, we’d like to introduce you to some of the amazing Volunteers who make a difference — week after week, month after month, and year after year. 💙💚

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Evelyn! 🌟

Thank you, Evelyn, for all that you do for the Pantry, and for the smile, kindness, and encouragement you bring to our neighbors each week. We are so grateful for you! ❤️

This one still gives me chills. Every time I tell the story, I get emotional!

In July, we shared SEM Food Pantry's need for a new roof inside Stroll Coldstream.
Our Preferred Partners stepped up. Coldstream neighbors stepped up. And one neighbor read that story and was moved to make an extraordinarily generous contribution.

By the time SEM held its Raise the Roof celebration, the organization had raised more than $100,000 — more than DOUBLE its original goal.

One story reached the right person.

This is why I believe so strongly in what we're building.

As we head into the busy holiday season, we want to take a moment to celebrate the amazing volunteers who make the SEM Food Pantry possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we’ll be sharing Volunteer Spotlights over the next few weeks so you can meet some of the wonderful people who give their time, talents, and hearts to serve our community.

Please join us in thanking them for all they do! 🙏

And if you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, come join our team! There’s always room for another helping hand. We are truly a family, and we’d love to have you be part of it. You can apply to be a volunteer on our website: https://www.semfoodpantry.org

Thank you for supporting SEM Food Pantry through your volunteering, donations, prayers, and encouragement. Together, we make a difference! 🧡

We are so blessed to have volunteer crews who become one big family! In the coming weeks, we will be posting Volunteer Spotlights to introduce you to many wonderful volunteers who have given so much for months, years, and even decades. Stay tuned to learn more about our amazing volunteers. SEM Food Pantry could not operate without their dedication. ❤️. This is just an example of how our crews have become like family.

Again this week, ROAR - RED OAK ANIMAL RESCUE IN NEW RICHMOND, OHIO, stopped by to pick up produce (too ripe for our shoppers) to feed to their very grateful, rescued, abused and abandoned animals. 🐷🐐🐴
It’s a partnership we love because it reflects something both of our organizations believe deeply: take care of what we’ve been given, help where we can, and don’t let good food go to waste.

✨ OUR WINDOWS ARE NOW SPARKLING, ALONG WITH OUR VOLUNTEERS AND CLIENTS!✨

A huge THANK YOU to Emily, owner of Sparkle Squad of East Cincinnati, and her wonderful team for generously donating an exterior window cleaning to SEM Food Pantry! 💙

They saw that we were getting a brand-new, sparkly roof and thought our windows deserved a little sparkle, too! 🪟✨

What a thoughtful gift to our Pantry. Our building looks AMAZING, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work.

Emily and the Sparkle Squad team, thank you, thank you for donating your time and services and helping our Pantry shine a little brighter! We appreciate your generosity more than you know. 💙

🏠 New roof.
