My Sanctuary Charity Organization at the Na We We Sporting Jamboree! ππ€
We were honoured to be part of the opening ceremony of the Na We We Sporting Jamboree, organised by Local Youth Corner Cameroon (LOYOC). The event brought together organisations, young people, and community leaders who share one vision: building stronger, more inclusive communities.
Our participation began with a panel discussion on drug abuse, facilitated by A Hand to Humanity Cameroon. The session highlighted the urgent need for collective action to prevent substance abuse and empower young people to make informed decisions.
Participants also benefited from a practical First Aid session led by Asaba Health Foundation, where they gained valuable life-saving skills and learned the importance of emergency preparedness.
Representing My Sanctuary Charity Organization, our Program Manager delivered a presentation on Respect, Social Cohesion, and Inclusion values that are at the heart of the Na We We Sporting Jamboree. The session encouraged participants to embrace diversity, promote mutual respect, and work together to build peaceful and inclusive communities.
On 4 July, our team also joined the sporting and cultural activities, celebrating unity, diversity, and the power of community engagement.
At My Sanctuary Charity Organization, we believe that lasting change begins when people come together with a shared purpose. We remain committed to empowering young people, promoting social cohesion, and supporting initiatives that create a more peaceful and inclusive society.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Local Youth Corner Cameroon (LOYOC) for organising this impactful initiative and for providing a platform for organisations to collaborate for positive community impact.
