In October, the co-op hosted a boom deployment exercise with both public and private sector partners on the Ohio River. This collaboration between organizations and governmental entities exhibits the region’s preparedness and ability to react to significant events along our shores. Much thanks goes out to each of our member organizations that participated as well as many agencies that continue to show support in our mission. We are very excited to host our annual river cruise tonight with our members and their friends and families. This is our first cruise since 2019. The Greater Cincinnati Harbor & Maritime Co-Operative, affectionately abbreviated GCHMCC or just the Co-Op, is a consortion of companies and individuals that join together to promote maritime security awareness in and along the Ohio River and its surrounding tributaries which affect the Greater Cincinnati Ohio region.
