A nonprofit that supports Black-owned businesses in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati

Community isn’t built by one person it’s built by all of us. 🤎
Every time we support a neighbor, celebrate a local entrepreneur, show up for an event, or share someone’s story, we’re helping shape a stronger Cincinnati.
At Represent Cincy, we believe our city is at its best when we uplift one another and create opportunities that benefit the whole community. Together, we can amplify local voices, strengthen our neighborhoods, and inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Building stronger businesses means building stronger communities. Black-owned businesses continue to shape Cincinnati’s culture, economy, and future, yet many entrepreneurs still face barriers to resources, funding, and long-term support. Through direct coaching, community engagement, and access to trusted resources, we can help create sustainable opportunities that allow businesses to grow, thrive, and leave a lasting impact across our city.

Good people. Great energy. Powerful connections.
The Mahogany Mixer is happening Thursday, June 18 from 7–10 PM at Nostalgia!
We’re bringing together Black business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals to network, celebrate Juneteenth, and honor the impact of Black-owned businesses in our community. Music by DJ Vader all night long 🎶
Pull up, make connections, and celebrate culture with us. 🖤

Some parts of building don’t get talked about enough.

The quiet seasons.
The doubt.
The slow progress.
The consistency it takes to keep showing up when the results are immediate.

Building something meaningful take more than talent. It takes patience, resilience, and belief in what you created even before everyone else sees it.

If you’re still showing up, you’re still growing.

Nobody hands you a roadmap when you decide to bet on yourself. You figure it out, you ask questions, you make mistakes, and you keep going anyway.

These are the things we wish someone had said out loud a little sooner. Consider this your sign that you’re not behind, you’re not alone, and what you’re building matters.

Drop a 🤎 if someone needs to see this and tag a Cincinnati entrepreneur who deserves their flowers today.
