We do this by providing innovative, collaborative, and interprofessional responses to current and emerging health issues.

Although most of our careers-based programming is for pre-college students, the AHEC Scholars program reaches those already pursuing a health-related degree! AHEC Scholars is for students interested in supplementing their education by gaining additional knowledge and experience in rural and/or underserved urban settings. They get real-world insights through a variety of didactic and experiential learning opportunities.
