Before we dive into the results, we just want to say thank you.
Another ERJT Weekend is officially in the books, and what an incredible weekend it was!
Every year, we leave this tournament feeling grateful—not just because of the competition, but because of the community that continues to pour into our junior bowlers.
To our bowlers, parents, coaches, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and everyone who supported ERJT Weekend 2026... thank you. Your support continues to make this event possible.
Because of your generosity and commitment to our juniors, we were able to award more than $4,600 in scholarships this year—well beyond what entry fees alone would have allowed after lineage, AJR expenses, and tournament operating costs. That is something our entire Eastern Region should be proud of. We also maintained approximately a 1:3 scholarship payout ratio across our events and divisions, ensuring more juniors had the opportunity to earn scholarship dollars.
This tournament has never just been about bowling. It's about investing in young people and creating opportunities that extend far beyond the lanes. We look forward to continuing to provide additional ways for our community to support junior bowling in the future.

One of the biggest highlights of the Main Event came from Kinney, who fired games of 286-279-279 for an incredible 844 series, helping Team No Talent capture the Division 1 Team title.

Saturday evening also brought one of everyone's favorite events —the Adult-Youth Tournament.
We welcomed 24 teams who battled through three games of qualifying before advancing to our two-game Baker-style stepladder finals. Based on feedback from last year, teams received 15% of their handicap during the stepladder, creating even more exciting competition.
As always, the stepladder did not disappoint.
Smoot & Howell battled past Christian & Lowe.
Dubeau & Dubeau then edged out Smoot & Howell.
Kopec & Kopec advanced by defeating Dubeau & Dubeau.
Collins & Collins saved their best for last, defeating Kopec & Kopec to capture the championship.
Interestingly, this was the first year the qualifying order remained exactly the same throughout the entire stepladder.
The highlight of the event came during qualifying when Collins dug deep after sitting outside the cut and exploded for a 300 game in Game 3 to jump into the lead.

While the scores were certainly impressive, our favorite part of the weekend had nothing to do with the scoreboards.
The lane condition challenged everyone, but what stood out most was watching our juniors encourage one another. They celebrated each other's success, gave high fives after good shots, picked one another up after bad shots, and simply enjoyed being together.
That sportsmanship, camaraderie, and love for the game is exactly what ERJT is about.
As we close another successful ERJT Weekend, we simply want to say thank you again to everyone who helped make this tournament special.
We remain committed to creating opportunities for junior bowlers both on and off the lanes. Each year, our goal is to grow this event, bring in additional support, increase participation, and award even more scholarship dollars.
So next year, don't just come yourself...
