CPR training holds importance, particularly within the Black community, due to higher rates of hypertension and heart disease, which can lead to increased chances of cardiac arrest.

Equipping our community with CPR skills not only enhances our collective ability to respond in emergencies but also addresses a critical aspect of health inequalities.

Last year, Interact for Health partnered with The Contribution Project, providing $400 mini-grants that sparked 65 youth-led community projects—from free haircuts to clothing drives.

These efforts proved one thing: young people care and lead with purpose.
