Our hearts are breaking for this big guy. This scared face is the same one that was so happy in the video we posted a few days ago. He was kneading his first bed after being pulled from our stray route. We pulled him when he stopped eating and in addition to stomatitis had 14 teeth pulled. We hoped he was on the mend but yesterday at his follow up visit, we found 2 of his sutures opened up and his gums are exposed. He is in a great deal of pain, difficulty eating again and we did not want to wait.
We would not do this if not necessary but what we post is only 1/5 of cases we are dealing with. This additional surgery + laser will be $350 and payment is due at pick up. Because this is due today we cannot do a fb fundraiser. If people could chip in even $5 or $10 to help us out it would be very appreciated. We had 3 unexpected intakes yesterday and didn’t plan on this additional expense. Let’s get our big guy feeling better.
