Happy Thanksgiving Friends!

Today we are proud to share a glimpse into the progress of the young women in our dress cutting and sewing training. These photos capture the moment they stepped outside the classroom to model the aprons and garments they created from start to finish.

Each piece tells its own story. You can see careful pleating, clean lines, and thoughtful colour choices. You can also see the confidence that comes from learning a skill with your own hands.

Your support helps this and gives young women a pathway to earn an income, support their families, and build a future that is not defined by hardship. When they master these skills, they gain something that cannot be taken away. They gain the ability to provide for themselves.
Their work is now part of the story we are building together and we hope to see you to meet some of these girls on 12/16!

Swazi Sheroes Program Update from Today’s Board Briefing
This morning our team met with board members and partners to review the progress of the Swazi Sheroes 2025 Cohort. The update from Eswatini reflects steady growth, strong commitment from the girls, and a program that continues to change lives.
The cohort is on track and the young women are gaining practical skills that can help them build safe and independent livelihoods. For many, this training opens a path away from the economic pressures that often push girls into dangerous choices. The program is designed to offer skills, confidence, and community so they can create a future defined by possibility rather than survival.
With two months until graduation, the girls are working hard to refine their craft and prepare for the next phase of their journey. We also shared plans for the relaunch of the Sheroes Facebook presence as we reintroduce the program to the public after a period of quiet activity.
We remain grateful to the mentors, donors, and partners who make this work possible. Your support continues to shape a program that empowers young women with dignity and opportunity.
