Our Tax Credit Campaign is officially underway — and Robin went first! ❤️
Robin, Cimarron's former school nurse, made our very first donation toward the Gray County Food Works shared-use kitchen. Because of Kansas Community Service Tax Credits, 70% of her donation comes back to her as a refundable Kansas income tax credit. One donation down. $226,000 to go.

Join us Monday, July 27th at 1pm at Linger for the Community Showcase for the Print for Purpose 3D print camp. The goal of the experience was to expose youth to 3D print technology and apply it to creating assitive devices that would benefit the elderly. Campers will explain their process and outcomes. Light refreshments will be served. Print for Purpose is made possible by a grant from Western Kansas Community Foundation

Year One, on the books.
Wins: Downtown Revive & Thrive ($95K), T-Mobile Hometown ($37K), and $161,881 in Kansas tax credits - turning $231K of community giving into support for Linger.
The other half of the story: our soda fountain and vending brought in $75,539 and paid local youth $25,560 in wages. After the building's property taxes ($11,055) and insurance ($9,036), we ran a ~$25K operating gap and the Executive Director drew $0.
That's our starting line.
Next: selling Tax Credits for the shared-use kitchen & fundraising for salaries and programming.
