I’m sure most of you have seen the complete destruction that hurricane helene brought to WNC; Asheville, Swannanoa, and so many surrounding areas are in DIRE need of resources and help. if you are wanting to help and don’t know how, sending relief funds is one really helpful thing to do!! if you want/are able to send funds, I would highly urge you to send them to the people in the community who are doing on-the-ground work. here are three organizations to donate to that are Asheville local orgs that have been doing the work of supplying their community with vital necessities very efficiently. also, check out their Instagrams for updates as well as what else they may need help acquiring on the ground if you’re fairly local and able to bring supplies safely.
