Arrowhead Improvements Association - AIA Our community, Arrowhead in Gunnison Country, is a small area of Colorado, located in the Western Slopes of the San Juan Mountain range since 1973.

Arrowhead consists of approximately 2500 acres of the best forest, meadows, streams and lakes. Arrowhead1.org is the only official website for Arrowhead property owners (owners in Arrowhead in Gunnison Country Subdivision, also commonly referred to as Arrowhead or Arrowhead Ranch). Smoke Signals is the only official publication of Arrowhead Improvements Association, Inc., the property owners association for Arrowhead in Gunnison Country Subdivision. This page is the only official page of Arrowhead Improvements Association, Inc. The Winter Parking Lot is officially 🟢OPEN🟢

Street legal vehicles, snowmobiles, tracked UTVs and cargo trailers may now be parked in the designated areas at the Winter Parking Lot.

Contact Arrowhead Outreach if you need a diesel parking spot or plan to park a trailer in the Winter Parking Lot. The diesel parking fee for the season is $265, and the trailer parking fee is $50.

📆 BOD Meeting on October 3rd 📆


The next Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for 1p on October 3rd at the AFPD Firehouse.

One of the items on the agenda will be a discussion and vote on Arrowhead Nordic's cross country terrain expansion proposal. Arrowhead Nordic presented during the August Regular BOD Meeting and provided detailed plans to expand the trail system by about 5 kilometers of open, long, and smooth trail in the Ponderosa meadow.

The BOD requests owner comments and welcomes input on this expansion prior to the October meeting vote. Please email all comments to the BOD at [email protected].

🌱 Treatment This Week at Hazel Lake🌿

Our noxious weeds contractor will be treating the cattails at Hazel Lake this Wednesday or Thursday morning (9-11a), depending on weather conditions. The herbicide is completely safe for use around water, native wildlife, and pets.

West Hwy 50 just East of Little Blue Canyon near Windy Point is CLOSED due to a major accident.

Emergency responders are enroute. No estimate on when it will reopen.
