⚾ National Cancer Survivors Night ⚾

This evening, representatives from Believe 31 are at NBT Bank Stadium joining the Upstate Cancer Center and Syracuse Mets as they celebrate those who have beaten cancer and those who continue to be affected by cancer.

If you are attending tonight’s game, which starts at 6:35 PM, please stop by our table to say hello, purchase an item, or discuss becoming part of our team.

Firefighter occupational cancer is the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths in the fire service.

There are Five Education Presentation Training Modules in this program; one for each topic to use for a safety stand down. The education presentations will assist in identifying the cancer problem and the steps to take to reduce exposures.

🎗️ JUNE IS NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVOR MONTH & UTERINE CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎗️

Throughout the month of June, we proudly recognize National Cancer Survivor Month and Uterine Cancer Awareness Month.

This special month is dedicated to honoring the strength, courage, and resilience of cancer survivors while raising awareness and supporting those currently battling cancer, their caregivers, and their families.

National Cancer Survivors Day, celebrated globally on the first Sunday of June, serves as a reminder that every survivor’s journey is a testament to hope, determination, and the power of community support.

At Believe 31, our mission is rooted in standing beside volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, auxiliary members, and their families during some of life’s most difficult challenges. During this month, we encourage everyone to take a moment to celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and help spread awareness about the importance of early detection, education, and support.

🚶‍♂️🧠 FREE COMMUNITY HEALTH EVENT 🧠🚶‍♀️

Join Upstate Medical University for the next Walk With A Doc program and enjoy a morning of walking, learning, and conversation focused on improving your overall well-being.

📖 Topic: “Exercising Your Brain to Boost Mental Fitness”

👨‍⚕️ Walk led by Dr. Robert Corona, DO, MBA, CEO of Upstate University Hospital and a board-certified physician specializing in pathology and neuropathology.

On Sunday, May 31st, representatives from Believe 31 had the opportunity to attend the 6th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride hosted by our brothers and sisters of
Fire and Iron Station 99 at the American Legion Post 787 - Cicero, NY.

As we continue to value the strong partnership between Believe 31 and Fire & Iron Station 99, we would like to recognize and thank the following Believe 31 representatives who volunteered their time to attend and represent our organization:

Throughout the day, our team had the opportunity to meet many riders, supporters, and community members while sharing information about Believe 31 and our mission of supporting volunteer firefighters, EMS personnel, auxiliary members, and their families who are battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
