Churchville Nature Center is a facility of the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, and is an area rich with diversity. The contrasting environments of meadow, marsh, woodland, pond and lake are all within an easy walk. The Churchville Nature Center welcomes people of all ages … for study, active

exploration and contemplation. The Center had its beginnings in 1964, with its headquarters in an old farmhouse. Later in 1976, the facilities were expanded to include a modern visitor center, which houses an auditorium, exhibit area, gift shop, staff offices and a nature library. Along with the visitor center, the grounds also include two miles of nature trails, a bird observation blind, wildlife gardens and re-created 1500's era Lenape Indian Village. The nature center went through a renovation in 2014 to become a Silver LEED certified building.
