As part of our celebration, our school is also excited to participate in the 30th Annual San Diego Buddy Walk! We invite our families, students, and staff to join us as we walk together to promote acceptance, inclusion, friendship, and awareness for individuals with Down syndrome.
This celebration is also very personal and meaningful to me. As both a parent and a member of our school staff, I am blessed to be Daniel’s mom. Daniel has taught our family so much about love, strength, determination, and the beauty of embracing differences. This year, Daniel will have the honor of helping lead our school team during the Buddy Walk, and I would absolutely love to have your support as we walk alongside him and celebrate inclusion together. The Buddy Walk is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate differences.
