Backpacks packed. Smiles delivered. School year ready. 🎒📚

This past weekend, members of the Rotary Club of Chula Vista Eastlake delivered backpacks filled with back-to-school supplies to approximately 35 children at Casa Hogar Infantil Uriel in Tijuana.

The project supports Rotary’s Area of Focus of Basic Education and Literacy, helping ensure students have the supplies they need to start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

The best part of the day was spending time with the kids—playing games, handing out treats and backpacks, and sharing plenty of smiles.

💙 Doing Good in Our Community

Members of the Rotary Club of Chula Vista-Eastlake were proud to lend a hand at a family-friendly festival last weekend at Lo-Har Senior Living, supporting seniors in need of assisted living and memory care.

There’s something special about bringing generations together and showing a little extra love to those in their golden years. We were happy to play a small part in a day filled with community, connection, and smiles.

The Rotary Club of Chula Vista Eastlake is pleased to announce a contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of South County. Club President Odette Y. and board member Tiffany H. presented the donation to Stephanie J., President and CEO of BGCSC.

Stephanie J., also served as an exceptional guest speaker.

This contribution will be directly allocated to enhancements of the gymnasium at their Imperial Beach facility.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South County operates as a youth development organization, primarily focused on enhancing the well-being of young individuals as active participants within our community.

The Rotary Club of Chula Vista Eastlake is proud to participate in the 2026 Ronald McDonald House of Charities "Red Shoe Day".

Red Shoe Day is a community fundraiser supporting San Diego's Ronald McDonald House where friends, families, and coworkers volunteer to collect donations in big red shoes across San Diego, helping families stay close to their hospitalized child.
