🏠 A recent milestone for Seniors on Broadway!

Recently, MAAC marked the completion of the rehabilitation of Seniors on Broadway, our 42-unit affordable senior housing community in Chula Vista.

The rehabilitation included upgrades to apartment homes, improved accessibility features, refreshed community spaces, building system enhancements, and energy-efficiency improvements. Together, these updates help ensure Seniors on Broadway remains a welcoming place for residents for years to come.

📖 Bringing families together through literacy, learning, and connection.

Recently, MAAC staff representing our Child Development Program attended the Talk, Read, Sing event at the San Diego Central Library. Hosted by First 5 San Diego and Dr. Seuss Foundation in celebration of National Literacy Month, the event brought families together for a day of storytelling, activities, and resources that support early learning.

MAAC hosted a booth to support early literacy efforts, share information about our services, and highlight our local partnership with Guitars in the Classroom (GITC). It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with families and join community partners in celebrating the power of reading, music, and learning.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and helped make the day such a meaningful experience. Together, we're creating opportunities for children and families to learn, grow, and thrive.
