Yesterday, the South Region DV Coalition hosted a comprehensive training for law enforcement and DV advocates. Thank you to all of the incredible presenters who shared their valuable expertise on DAFEs and strangulation, trauma-informed interviewing for law enforcement, prosecution of DV cases, GVROs, TRO’s and community resources.

A special THANK YOU to our survivor panelists (not pictured) who courageously shared their experiences and hearts with us - we see you, we hear you, and we are grateful for your voices. 💜

Today was our second Coffee & Conversation meeting, where we discussed the dangers of domestic violence callouts for law enforcement and the impact these situations can have on officers’ mental health.
THANK YOU to our wonderful speakers for sharing their expertise, insight, and vulnerability. We are incredibly grateful to our local law enforcement officers who put their safety on the line every day to keep our communities safe.
Today’s conversation was truly valuable. 🙏🏼💜☕️
