Today, Roberto Velasquez, SCRC’s President & CEO, spoke before the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to advocate for programs that support older adults and their caregivers throughout San Diego County.

“I am disappointed that our Board of Supervisors did not support an Integrated Plan that includes early intervention programs addressing the mental health needs of older adults and the older adult family caregivers who care for them.”

Even in the face of ongoing challenges, SCRC remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the caregiving community and advancing resources that help older adults and their families thrive
