Today is the day! Join us from 12-4pm as we celebrate Día de Los Mu***os at the Emo Brown Headquarters. The Emo Brown Arts Department along with XoQUE: Art in Motion will be hosting an afternoon filled with art, music, food, vendors, and the building of a community altar.

Thank you for your incredible generosity and belief in 2023. We were able to accomplish so much, and do wonders for our community, because of the help and generosity of our supporters. As we move into 2024, we're excited at the new projects on the horizon, and we are determined to have an even bigger impact on the place that we call home.

To end the year Strong, we've been working hard to fundraise $10,000 for our friends at John Montgomery Elementary, with the goal being to provide an avenue for all sixth graders to attend camp. Through our efforts with our gratitude bike ride, and tomorrow's winter formal, we are going to be up to over $6000!

To get us achieve our goal, our friends at have offered to match donations up to $2000!

Last night at our headquarters, we hosted “The Link Up: a safe space for men together in unity, common ground & story.”

In a world where societal expectations often pressure men to be strong, stoic, and silent about their struggles, it's crucial that we create safe spaces for them to open up, seek support, and prioritize their mental well-being.

Most of us were raised in environment where we were not only encouraged to suppress our feelings, but often made fun of for even having them. It was often seen as such a stigma, and we were weighed down by this toxic masculinity. So gathering like this was a way for us to break down generational barriers and change the discourse.

Through shared experiences, heartfelt conversations, and unwavering support, this group is empowering men to break free from the chains of stigma and embrace their emotions in a safe space.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this incredible support system, don't hesitate to reach out. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Last week, the Emo Brown Foundation had the honor to distribute 10 scholarships to the winners of our 2023 Community Investment Program. With over 40 applicants, it was an incredibly challenging task to narrow it down to these individuals. However, these 10 youngsters stood out for a reason, and it was a privilege to meet them in person and get to know them, along with their family and friends.

These unique individuals have not only demonstrated exceptional academic & personal achievements, but have also shown incredible determination, resilience, and a true passion for making a positive impact in their communities. Each of our scholarship recipients has a unique story that reminds us of the power of dreams, hard work, and the unwavering belief in oneself. They have overcome challenges, pushed boundaries, and are pursuing their goals with unwavering dedication. Their commitment to future accomplishments are a testament to their incredible spirit and the limitless potential within each and every one of us. So, let’s take a moment to celebrate these remarkable individuals and their achievements! Their success now & moving forward is a reminder that with hard work, determination, and the support of a loving community, anything is possible. Let’s cheer them on as they continue to chase their dreams and inspire others along the way!

This foundation has always existed with the primary goal of not only elevating the youth in our community, but empowering them to lead the next generation. None of this is possible without the incredible support we receive from our community. As we find ourselves one month away from our third annual charity golf tournament, we remind you that this is why we do what we do.

To our scholarship recipients: Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! We believe in you and cannot wait to witness the incredible impact you will make in the world!
