🌅 What a night on the bay ✨

Casa Sur Hacienda was honored to attend and support the Living Coast Discovery Center's Sunset Social — and it did not disappoint. 🐢🎶🌊

We danced the night away with DJ Artistic, came face to face with some amazing animal ambassadors, hit the photo booth, and got creative with hands-on crafts — all while the sun painted San Diego Bay in the most beautiful shades of gold and rose.

Events like this remind us why community, nature, and connection matter so much. The Living Coast does truly special work — inspiring conservation and bringing people together in the most unforgettable ways.

🌱 Casa Sur Hacienda was honored to attend and support Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center at the Seedling Soirée 2026!

What an extraordinary evening on May 30th — a Forage & Feast experience under the theme "Nourishing Today. Thriving Tomorrow." The energy in the property was a beautiful testament to what happens when a community gathers around food, culture, and a shared vision for a healthier future.

Olivewood Gardens, rooted in National City right in our South Bay backyard, is doing transformational work — connecting families to garden-based education, nutrition, healthy cooking, environmental stewardship, leadership development, and food access advocacy. Their programs reach children, youth, and adults across generations, empowering communities through the soil and the stove.

At Casa Sur Hacienda, we believe that a home is more than four walls — it is a living space for culture, community, and connection. From our courtyard and fruit trees to our complimentary dance class for guests, we are rooted in the same conviction: that when people gather with intention, belonging and wellness flourish. That shared belief — that community is the foundation of wellbeing — is what made supporting Olivewood Gardens' mission feel not just meaningful, but deeply personal.

Some rooms just feel different. ✨

Last week, Casa Sur Hacienda had the honor of being at the 2026 Chicano Federation Unity Luncheon — surrounded by leaders, families, and community builders who have been doing the work long before it was trending.

For 57 years, the Chicano Federation of San Diego County has been a steady presence in our region. Expanding opportunity. Supporting youth and small businesses. Advocating for housing, economic mobility, and a more equitable comunidad. That kind of legacy isn't built overnight — it's built person by person, family by family, generation by generation.

And then there's Ms. Rachael Ortiz. 🙏

Over 50 years leading Barrio Station. Fifty years of showing up, of pouring into our community with everything she had. Watching her be celebrated in that room was a reminder of what real, lasting leadership looks like.

At Casa Sur Hacienda, community isn't a buzzword — it's why we exist. Events like this remind us why showing up matters.

Casa Sur Hacienda was honored to join an incredible evening hosted by La Revista Binacional at the stunning University Club San Diego, celebrating Telemundo's official coverage of the FIFA World Cup!

The #1 sport in the world is heading to the United States, Canada, and Mexico — and the energy in that room was absolutely electric.

From passionate conversations to powerful connections, this night reminded us why soccer is more than a sport — it's a culture, a community, and a celebration that unites us all.

Casa Sur Hacienda is seeking a mission-aligned tenant partner — and we'd love your help finding them.

We are opening Casa Sur Hacienda — a culturally rooted, quarter-acre property in Downtown Chula Vista — to one organization that can use the full facility as its:

• Headquarters & working space (4 rooms, 3 baths, co-working capacity) • Housing — permanent or transitional (lodging for 14–17 people) • Event venue (up to 200 guests, 6,000+ sq ft of outdoor space)

We're open to nonprofits, for-profits, and social enterprises. What we care about most is mission alignment and the chance to build something meaningful together.

Lease terms: We are seeking a tenant/partner on a flexible 6, 12, 18, or 24-month lease — short enough to test fit, long enough to build something real.
