I know we’re going through a lot as a nation, and I understand that many of us are struggling to get by.

I just ask that you give these individuals a chance and read their stories.

I know it can feel like a lot, I do understand that, but Appa, myself, and the children and sentient beings of Gaza can use your care and love.

“If you’re not sexually attracted to children, a child being willing changes nothing.
Stop asking what the little girl did.
Ask why the grown man wanted her.

and to EVERY adult out there excusing these behaviors, excusing a grown person sexually abusing a child, YOU ARE TELLING THE WORLD EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE.

“If you can condone it, you will do it.”

REFRAMING OUR PERSPECTIVE TO PROTECT THE VULNERABLE:

Who was the adult in the encounter? An adult always holds the power over the child.

Did the adult understood & ignore what was happening?

Did the adult benefit from complicity and silence?

What systems were in place that protected the abuse instead of the victim?

What choices did the perpetrator make to initiate and continue this behavior?

What deliberate actions did the offender take to target this specific individual?

At what points did the perpetrator have the opportunity to stop, and why did they choose to continue?

What steps did the adult take to plan or facilitate the boundary violation?

WHEN WILL ADULTS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN BEHAVIORS?

⭐️Our priority are the current victims, and so we will refrain from providing information that could pose a risk to these victims.
⭐️ It is crucial that we respect anonymity. Caring about survivors is also caring about their safety.
⭐️We are pursuing an extensive legal investigation and for that reason we cannot name perpetrators or provide certain information. It could jeopardize the investigation.
⭐️Our community can help us by putting pressure on the Chula Vista PD and San Diego PD to practice extensive inter-agency collaboration between each other and outside anti human trafficking task forces. Clearly, this issue is much bigger than they can handle or their one task force can handle.
⭐️Please look over the content on both Warrior-Survivor & Rasa of the Hero Child to inform yourself on this matter, on how to protect yourself, and what you can do to help survivors and the current victims.

We need to put pressure on the Chula Vista PD and San Diego PD to extensively practice inter-agency collaboration, especially having the Chula Vista PD use the anti human trafficking resources available through SDPD. There is no need to divided these two departments when it’s clear that human trafficking activities cross city lines.

We also need to put pressure on both departments and also on whoever is in charge of overseeing these different jurisdictions because we need clarity and transparency on why these reports are burn pushed under the rug and why victims like me are being left in limbo.
