The Facts on Future Athletes of Christoval, Texas (FACTX). Our mission is to promote youth sports, health, and wellness throughout our community.
When we think of a “True Athlete,” it’s not just about physical ability—it’s about work ethic, sportsmanship, dedication, attitude, and drive. Through FACTX, we want to provide young athletes with opportunities to build these qualities while gaining valuable skills that will serve them both on the field and in the workforce.
Our vision includes:
Skill development & training for athletes of all ages.
Coaching support through training and resources.
Healthy lifestyle education focused on nutrition and exercise.
Expanded opportunities for kids to participate in multiple sports (baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, football, track, volleyball, cross country, and more).
We plan to partner with Christoval ISD, Angelo State University, local businesses, and other professionals to give students new goals and opportunities. As a small community, we don’t have many of the resources larger towns can offer—so FACTX is our way of filling that gap.
Our initial focus will be on K–6th grade programs, while also supporting and complementing school programs for 7th–12th grade. We have outlined both short-term and long-term goals, beginning with building strong partnerships with you, the school, and our coaches. With your support, we will then gather broader community involvement and begin implementing these opportunities.
FACTX is officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the State of Texas, with a board made up of local professionals and community leaders—who are eager to expand and grow this effort.
We would love the chance to meet with you and discuss how we can collaborate to build a long-term plan that benefits our youth, our community, and ultimately, our future generations. Their success will be our success.
