Christmas Valley Boosters

The Christmas Valley Boosters have been helping children in the North Lake County area for over 40 years. We have helped families provide Christmas gifts for their children, help with travel/food/lodging for children needing medical attention away from home, provided school supplies, funds for medication, etc.

We are in need of volunteers to help keep this organization running for the future. Our current volunteers are wanting to pass the torch on to new members that may have a fresh, new vision for the future. That being said, we are looking for people to take the lead with new fundraising opportunities and ideas to help fund these projects that are near and dear to our hearts to support children in the North Lake County area.

That’s a wrap. Thank you to everyone that supported the kids in the North Lake County area. The local children’s Christmas party with Santa was a fun time to get a picture with the big guy and get a filled stocking and a gift, cookies & punch.

The Tree of Joy helped about 130 kids from over 50 families that needed a little help to give their kids a great Christmas.

Merry Christmas and thank you to our local businesses and individuals that sponsored kids, donated goodies, made donations, and gave their time to make this program a success. Central Oregon Toys for Tots - you are our heroes and we appreciate everything you do for us.

Tree of Joy forms are available at all 3 North Lake post offices, as well as Oregon Country Realty in Christmas Valley. Please drop off completed forms no later than November 18th or mail to the address on the form.

The Boosters are having a meeting Monday, October 9th at 5pm at the building behind the post office. We’ll be discussing making Christmas wreaths in November.

Valentine’s flowers will be on sale at the Booster building behind the C.V. post office Monday Feb. 13th & Tuesday Feb. 14th. 10am-5pm.

There will also be cards, candy, stuffed animals, etc.

Tree of Joy forms (from the Christmas Valley Boosters) will be available at all three post offices in the North Lake area starting this weekend.

Please get yours turned in as soon as possible. They can be mailed back to the address on the form or put in the drop box at Oregon Country Realty (next to Dollar General).

We are having a meeting this Monday, October 10th at 6pm.

It shouldn’t be very long, but we will be discussing making Christmas wreaths to sell that supports our community Tree of Joy.

We will need people the end of October or beginning of November to help gather greenery in the woods as well as help make wreaths and table decorations.

Valentine's flowers will be sold at the Booster Building behind the post office. Arrangements start from $5 and go up from there. We'll also have stuffed animals, cards, candy & cookies.
