October is Pastor appreciation month. Please take a moment and pray for your pastor. He is likely facing battles that you could not imagine, and you’ll never know about them.

Interesting Bible fact of the day

The shortest verse in the Bible is "Jesus wept." Most people already know this, so that doesn't seem like a very interesting fact. But I love the story underneath it all. Jesus was weeping because someone he loved had died and his friends were hurting and grieving. Jesus entered into their pain and felt this sorrow. Even though everything was going according to His plan, He was still present with them in their pain. Even though He was about to perform a miracle that brings them joy, He did not ignore their current circumstances.

I think that is a good reminder for us today as well. You can completely be in the will of God, and bad things can still happen. The pain is still real and Jesus will be there beside you.

When sharing Christ with others:
Be patient with seeds.
Be aggressive with weeds.
Don’t water dead plants. 😏
