Now in the redemption bracket, a loss means they would be out of the tournament. Thankfully, Joshua and Barraza were able to take out their opponent, Student Driver, and move on the to next round!

Sophie and Bone Crusher’s second battle had her facing off against Mildly Dangerous. Their vertical spinner was destroy Bone Crusher’s weapon, which trapped her on her back and sent her to the redemption bracket.

Joshua and his bot Barraza started their day at Nexus Knockout facing off against Planted Aggression. The match ended with a hard hit causing Barraxa’s battery to come flying out of the bot, sending Joshua to the redemption bracket!

Sophie’s first battle at Nexus Knockout had her bot Bone Crusher facing off against Zica. After a few hard hits, Zica stopped moving, giving Sophie her first win and allowing her to move ahead in the tournament!

Yesterday, we took four students to the Nexus Knockout ant weight battle bot tournament, with Sophie and Joshua competing. Both of them did super well, with Joshua getting 9th place and Sophie getting 3rd! We’re so proud of how well they did, and will be posting the videos of their battles over the next few days. Congratulations again to our participants!
