Among the various projects supported by the Choteau Soroptimist Women's Club through its fundraising activities is a scholarship program for high school senior girls who aspire to pursue higher education. The club broadened the scope of its scholarship program this year to encompass additional high schools within the county, including Augusta. A total of $500 was awarded to each recipient. The scholarship recipients are:
Kyria Alzheimer of Choteau, who will study Culinary Arts and Business at MSU Bozeman; Kameron Lidstrom of Fairfield, attending MSU Billings for a program in Radiology Technology; Kayley Chapman Roberts of Dutton, pursuing Business Education at MSU Great Falls; and Kadee Carlbom of Augusta, who will attend Oklahoma State University (OSU) for studies in Veterinary Services/Care.
