Join as we gather to pray for the communities in Eastern Oklahoma County. We will pray into specific targets for our schools, cities, businesses, and other areas within our community. We hope that local churches, educators, and community leaders will come and join us for this time of prayer.

Some of our favorite young volunteers were back at it today!

Evelyn and Truman stopped by to help us get a few things done as we prepare for the busy back to school season. From lending a hand to sharing plenty of smiles, they remind us that serving others has no age requirement.

We are grateful for young people like Evelyn and Truman who choose to spend part of their day making a difference in our community. Thank you both for your servant hearts. We love having you at the EOCRC!

Tonight at Finding Hope we will be talking about forgiveness! When you have a loved one in addiction forgiveness is an important thing we walk through towards them and towards ourselves!

Finding Hope is a support group for loved ones of addicts that meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 6:30pm.
Each group you will go deeper realizing:
1. You are not alone!
2. It’s not your fault!
3. There is HOPE!

Every Monday, something special happens at EOCRC.

Vicki and Kirk Fraser, along with their daughter Maggie, lead a group of incredible volunteers who faithfully help clean our building. Maggie is also a familiar face every Tuesday, spending the day with us and brightening the room with her smile and conversations with our shoppers.

Joining them are the women of Three Oaks House, Maggie, Cynthia, and Sonia, along with job coaches and house staff, Sharon and Felicia. They love serving their community and take great pride in helping prepare our building to welcome neighbors each week.

Their joy is contagious. They know their work matters. Every floor cleaned, every room prepared, and every act of service helps create a welcoming place for families who need support.

We are grateful for each of them and the love they show through faithful service. Thank you for reminding us that every person has gifts to share and that serving others is one more way to love our neighbors well. ❤️

We would like to extend a special invitation to you for this week’s Finding Hope Support Group meeting on Monday at 6:30pm! We will be talking about what addiction is and how the Lord gives us wisdom, knowledge and understanding- even concerning addiction!! (Proverbs 2:6)

While most students spend their summer chasing fun, Ben Seabolt finds his by serving others.

Ben is one of our favorite volunteers at EOCRC. You will find him here on stocking days, truck days, and wherever an extra set of hands is needed. He is always willing to jump in and tackle the jobs the rest of us are trying to avoid. Especially the ones us old people don’t want to do.

Thank you, Ben, for your servant’s heart and your willingness to make a difference. Volunteers like you help us serve our community every week.
