This afternoon at approx. 3:55, Station 200 as well as Roane County Emergency Squad Station 703 was dispatched to a single vehicle accident near 21747 South Calhoun Hwy. The vehicle caught fire which also caused a minor brush fire. The fire was extinguished and no injuries reported.

This evening at Station 200, we welcomed Roane County EMS crew, Jordyn Long and Judy Brannon. Jordyn and Judy went through the operation of their trucks equipment as well as got FD responders familiarized with the location of medical supplies within the truck. Our department wants to always be ready to help other emergency agencies when they need assistance.

This afternoon at approximately 2:11pm, Station 200 and Minnie Hamilton EMS were dispatched to 49 Stinson Rd. for a trailer hauling hay on fire near a dwelling. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly extinguished the hay bales. The dwelling nor the trailer suffered any damage.
