This year's Smoker Station will feature two incredible new signature creations:

This Memorial Day, we are honored to introduce the newest puppies joining the Clear Path for Veterans Canine Program: Iris and Raven. 🐾🇺🇸

These names were chosen to honor two extraordinary women whose service, leadership, and courage left a lasting impact on those around them.

🐾 Iris
Inspired by Lieutenant Colonel Iris Mary Bower, one of the first female Army nurses deployed during the Korean War. Arriving just weeks after the conflict began, she served in mobile surgical hospitals under fire and was awarded the Bronze Star for her courage and dedication. Her calm leadership and unwavering commitment helped shape the future of battlefield nursing.

🐾 Raven
Inspired by Command Sergeant Major Raven GThunder, a highly respected Native American woman who served multiple combat deployments during Iraq and Afghanistan. Working in intelligence roles critical to special operations, she also became a passionate mentor and advocate for women and minority soldiers throughout her military career.

As we remember and honor those who served and sacrificed this Memorial Day, we are proud to carry forward these legacies of strength, compassion, and service through the next generation of Clear Path canines.

Memorial Day isn’t just a holiday.

For veterans, it’s a weight carried every day — the faces that show up when the room gets quiet, the names spoken when no one is listening. The remembering never stops.

To the Gold Star families in our community — we have not forgotten. Your loved one’s name is still spoken.

To the veterans who are still fighting battles no one else can see — the most common thing we hear isn’t anger. It’s this: “I didn’t think anyone was paying attention.”

They are. We are. You are not forgotten. 🇺🇸

The gap between military and civilian life doesn’t close itself. It closes in workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities — when people choose to show up. Not just on holidays. Every day.

Today we remember. Tomorrow we work.
