This verse hit me between the eyes 👀 today as I was reading my Bible.

It’s so easy to get sucked into slander, gossip and mud slinging!

I pray this verse convicts my heart and yours to examine the thoughts and words we use to see if they are pleasing to God and helpful to those around us. What if instead of saying something out of pure emotion we stopped and prayed for ourselves and the other person? Do you think things would change?

As Thumper said, “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”
