Recently, the Rotary Club members enjoyed a presentation from Rose Dolan-Neill, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Chippewa Valley (https://www.gotrchippewavalley.org/). Rose shared how the local chapter of this nonprofit organization is dedicated to enhancing participants' social, emotional and physical skills and and helping them successfully navigate life experiences. Through the efforts of their network of volunteers, girls are inspired to be their best. Thank you Rose.

Who says holiday cheer has to wait for December? 🎅☀️

The CF Rotary Club had a fantastic time at last week’s meeting getting into the festive spirit a few months early! A huge thank you to Glen Zwiefelhofer from The Spirit of Christmas of Chippewa County (https://www.thespiritofchristmasofchippewacounty.com/) for his wonderful "Christmas in July" presentation.

It was a great reminder that the spirit of giving back, bringing joy, and supporting our community isn't just a seasonal event—it’s a year-round mission. 🎁✨

The Chippewa Falls Rotarians enjoyed a presentation at their last meeting by Gretta Staff, Program Director for the BigBrothersBigSisters of Northwestern Wisconsin (https://www.bbbsnw.org/). Gretta shared information about the different programs BBBS does for the youth in our community. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Big Brother or Big Sister, reach out to them at (715)835-0161. It is a great way to help a youth achieve their full potential!

Members of the Chippewa Falls Rotary Club recently enjoyed their 2026/27 Rotary Inner Outer celebration at Wissota High Shores Supper Club. This is a celebratory year-end gathering held for the purpose of thanking the outgoing club president and welcoming the incoming club president. Thank you to everyone for your service to our community.

We talk so much about how we want to live, but we rarely talk about how we want to leave. Last week's Rotary Club lunchtime presentation by End-of-life doulas, Deirdre Jenkins and Dawn Briskey, was a fascinating discussion that is changing the narrative on this important topic. Hearing them speak with so much grace, warmth, and—honesty helped in demystifying what services are available to families in the final days of loved ones. The Rotary Club was pleased to hear from Sara Orcholski, co-owner of Josehphine's Pasatria (https://josephineswissota.com/). This new Italian eatery offers excellent, delicious, from scratch Italian dishes with many gluten-free options. Located in Lakeside Village, 17158 Cty. Hwy J, Chippewa Falls- you don't want to miss this one!

🙌The power of community and service in action.

This year the Chippewa Falls Rotary Club proudly raised and distributed $33,500 back into our community through local grants supporting organizations, projects and initiatives that make a real difference.

These grants are more than dollars- they represent hope, partnership, and the incredible impact we can make when people come together to serve others. We are honored to live out the Rotary motto "Service Above Self".

Grant recipients received their awards at the annual gala at SpringFest Chippewa Falls. Congratulations to everyone!
