We've changed the menu for this week seeing as how high the temps are promising to be. So no oven use when it's in the high 90s. Menus are always up on the website, but here are the changes for those interested.

No musical group this Saturday Sept 2nd. I guess they've all got something to do on Labor Day Weekend. The nerve :) So no meal this Saturday. The coffeehouse will be closed that night, but there will be a meal on Monday, Sept 4th as usual.

Barnabas Christian Coffeehouse will be open for the Monday night meal on Labor Day - September 4th. If you're not grilling out somewhere with friends or family, make sure to come down and join us. Meal Menus are always available on the website, and are kept updated frequently.

Heads up for Wednesday August 23rd. We are cancelling the meal Wednesday night due to temperatures approaching 100 degrees. Menus will continue as posted on the website for the remainder of the month.

Barnabas Christian Coffeehouse
Free meals are served every Monday & Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm. The doors officially open at 4:30 pm. Most of the time they may be open earlier if all the meal preparation is well under way and we aren't needing last minute focus to get it all done. It can get loud in the building if there is a lot of conversation going on so that is the reason we may restrict the opening time to 4:30 pm.
Having said that, if you see the doors propped open you are welcome to come in and get some coffee or cold water and spend some time visiting with us.
You may often see the doors open on other days as well. We are planning to be open in the afternoons/early evenings on Tuesdays and Fridays as well, though no routine times are ready to be established as of yet. We need to get Randy through his chemo and to the point that his energy levels are better. In the meantime if the doors are open, stop in if you feel like it.
We are hoping to be able to establish routine times for the building to be open as a drop-in/warming center as the temperatures begin to drop this Fall.
SATURDAY NIGHTS - we are continuing to be open around 5 pm and will be serving a light meal in a less formal setting. Live Gospel Music will be starting at 7 pm most Saturday evenings. We now have a projection set up that allows us to display movies in a large format on the wall, so some Saturdays there may be movies when we haven't found a musical guest for the evening.
There may be a bible study developing on Friday evenings in the future. If this is something you are interested in please send a message to let us know. Thanks
